Sr Administrative Assistant
The Sr Administrative Assistant at Confidential Client supports the Charlotte engineering office by providing comprehensive administrative and operational assistance to engineering, project management, and office leadership teams. What You’ll Do
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to engineering and project teams in a busy Charlotte office
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, manage conference rooms, and welcome visitors
- Prepare, format, proofread, and distribute project documents, reports, and correspondence
- Maintain project files and support document-control processes
- Assist with onboarding for new hires and contractors
- Coordinate office supplies, equipment requests, and general facilities needs
- Help arrange travel, compile expense reports, and support meeting logistics
- Support project managers with data entry, document tracking, and routine project admin tasks
- Maintain accurate records and protect confidential information
- Deliver professional, customer-focused service to employees, clients, and visitors
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree preferred
- 0–2 years of administrative, office support, customer service, or related experience
- Strong organizational skills and demonstrated attention to detail
- Effective written and verbal communication abilities
- Comfortable prioritizing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Professional, positive, and team-oriented attitude
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
Preferred Skills
- Experience supporting engineering, construction, consulting, or project-based teams
- Familiarity with document management systems or project databases
- Experience scheduling meetings for large or distributed teams
- Exposure to onboarding, event coordination, or office administration duties
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field
