What You’ll Do

As a member of the Confidential Client team you will support and improve release management processes that enable software delivery across a Software-Defined Vehicle (SDV) portfolio. This is an entry-level (I) position focused on process governance, metrics, reporting and continuous improvement.

  • Support ongoing development and maintenance of the Feature Rollout Process (FROP) and Base Rollout Process (BROP).
  • Maintain process documentation, standards, templates and guidance materials.
  • Collect, analyze, and maintain release-management metrics and dashboards.
  • Support development of reporting that increases visibility into release performance.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to increase release maturity and efficiency.
  • Assist with governance meetings, reviews and communication of decisions to cross-functional teams.
  • Support release-management tools, workflows, automation efforts and data quality.
  • Coordinate with engineering, product, validation, integration and program teams to gather requirements and feedback.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range: $78,000 – $100,000 USD (starting range; final pay dependent on experience and qualifications).

Knowledge & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
  • 0–3 years’ experience in software development, systems engineering, project coordination, process management or similar.
  • Basic understanding of the software development lifecycle and interest in release management and governance.
  • Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate across teams.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and following through on commitments.

Nice-to-Have (Exceptional Candidates Might Have)

  • Internship or co-op experience in software, engineering or technology.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
  • Exposure to Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, Power BI or similar tools.
  • Basic knowledge of CI/CD and software delivery pipelines.
  • Experience producing reports and dashboards from data.
  • Background or interest in automotive software or Software-Defined Vehicle concepts.

Location & Schedule

  • Location: Portland, OR (candidates must be able to work in or relocate to Portland; relocation assistance is not available).
  • Schedule: Hybrid — typically 4 days in-office / 1 day remote per week.
