Overview

This is a remote, full-time, temporary (8-month) contract role supporting a confidential client in the IT industry. The Software Support Specialist will help maintain and support applications used to monitor program effectiveness, including configuring survey content (YAML), generating surveys via command-line tools, committing changes with source control, testing outputs, and contributing to process and data governance improvements. This is an entry-level opportunity suitable for candidates with a relevant degree and an interest in application support, testing, and data workflow processes.

What You’ll Do

• Configure survey content using YAML and generate surveys via command-line processes.
• Commit and manage changes using established source control workflows.
• Test and validate application output; document test plans and results.
• Provide technical support across the lifecycle of cloud-hosted or purchased applications.
• Maintain and make minor modifications to simple application logic and code as needed.
• Contribute to cross-functional efforts involving data processing, data governance, and application systems.
• Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and automation.

What You’ll Bring
