What You’ll Do

As an Assurance Innovation & Technology Software Engineering Associate (entry-level), you will contribute to building software and product solutions that support assurance and financial reporting workstreams. You will work on client-delivered projects and internal technology initiatives, collaborating with engineers, architects, and business stakeholders to design, develop, test, and maintain software systems.

  • Develop software using core computer science and engineering principles
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle: design, code, test, deploy, and maintain
  • Perform and participate in code reviews to raise code quality and maintain standards
  • Help design and implement solution architecture and scalable software designs
  • Apply debugging and testing approaches to ensure robust, maintainable code
  • Provide technical support on client engagements and translate technical work into client-facing outcomes
  • Explore and propose ways to leverage AI and automation to improve productivity and product outcomes
  • Learn from peers and mentors; adapt to new tools, frameworks, and methodologies

Responsibilities

  • Write clean, well-tested code and contribute to team code reviews
  • Implement features and bug fixes according to requirements and architectural guidance
  • Collaborate in cross-functional teams to refine requirements and produce technical designs
  • Use software design patterns and good engineering practices to create maintainable systems
  • Help produce documentation, runbooks, and unit/integration tests
  • Communicate technical work clearly to non-technical stakeholders when needed
  • Continuously learn and apply new technologies relevant to project goals

Minimum Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related field
  • Minimum overall GPA of 3.0
  • Entry-level / client service associate candidates should be completing or have completed their final academic year of educational requirements
  • Strong foundational programming knowledge and familiarity with software engineering concepts
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in teams and communicate effectively

Preferred (What Sets You Apart)

  • Overall GPA of 3.5 or higher
  • Experience with code review processes and software design patterns
  • Exposure to solution architecture or designing scalable systems
  • Familiarity with leveraging AI, automation, or ML tools to drive efficiencies
  • Intellectual curiosity, adaptability in fast-paced environments, and strong teamwork skills
  • Practical experience from internships, projects, or coursework demonstrating applied software development

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range: $53,500 - $104,000 (actual pay will depend on skills, experience, qualifications, and applicable employment laws)
  • Eligible for an annual discretionary bonus
  • Benefits may include medical, dental, vision, retirement (401k), paid time off, and other standard employee benefits (actual package provided by the hiring organization)
  • Confidential Client evaluates compensation and benefits in accordance with state and federal employment laws

  • Employment type: Full-time
