What You’ll Do
As an entry-level Software Engineering Associate on a Tax Innovation Delivery Experience (TIDE) team, you will help build and deliver software solutions that support tax consulting and tax technology initiatives. You’ll work alongside engineers, product leads, and tax specialists to implement features, troubleshoot issues, and learn modern software practices.
- Develop and implement software using C#.NET and JavaScript to meet client requirements
- Contribute to system design, object-oriented architecture and implementation choices
- Participate in code reviews to maintain quality and shared standards
- Debug, troubleshoot, and profile applications to improve performance and reliability
- Build responsive front-end and mobile experiences using JavaScript frameworks and React Native
- Work with REST APIs and REST Client tools to integrate services
- Analyze functional requirements and translate them into technical tasks and tests
- Embrace feedback, documentation, and iterative improvement processes
- Support client engagements by providing technical insight and clear communication
What You Must Have
- Currently pursuing or completed a Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Computer and Information Science, Computer Programming, Computer Systems Analysis, or a related field
- At least a 3.0 overall GPA
- Entry-level / client service associate candidates should be completing or have completed their final academic year
What Sets You Apart
- 3.5+ GPA preferred
- Demonstrated proficiency in C#.NET and JavaScript
- Experience with React Native or other mobile frameworks
- Familiarity with REST APIs and client tooling
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and code-review skills
- Interest in leveraging AI or automation to improve development workflows
Travel Requirements
- Up to 20% travel may be required
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $53,500 - $142,000 per year — actual compensation will depend on skills, experience, qualifications, and location, and will comply with applicable employment laws.
- Eligible for annual discretionary bonus and benefits such as medical, dental, vision, retirement plan (401k), paid holidays, vacation, and paid sick leave.
