What You’ll Do

This is an entry-level Software Engineering Analyst role supporting Government & Public Services engagements. You will contribute to the design, build, testing, and maintenance of scalable, secure software solutions that help public-sector clients solve complex problems. Responsibilities include:

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to translate business needs into technical solutions
  • Write, test, and maintain clean, well-documented code
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices and automation
  • Integrate cloud services and other modern technologies into applications
  • Troubleshoot performance, security, and reliability issues
  • Support deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement of applications
  • Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Contribute to project deliverables and, when appropriate, lead small workstreams

Qualifications (Required)

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university expected to graduate by Summer 2027, or hold a bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a similar program
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail and quality of work product
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness and ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future
  • Candidates must be at least 18 years of age at the time of employment
  • You must reside within a commutable distance (for example, a 100-mile radius) of your assigned office and be able to commute daily if required
  • Ability to travel up to 50% on average, depending on client needs

Preferred Qualifications

  • Cumulative GPA of 3.4 or higher
  • Internship, project, or coursework experience in software engineering, computer engineering, or computer science
  • Experience with cloud platforms, automated testing, CI/CD, and modern application frameworks
  • Familiarity with code review workflows and engineering standards

Compensation & Location

  • Salary range (estimate): $95,000 to $98,000 per year. This range is provided based on factors such as skills, experience, and location and may be adjusted for geographic differentials.
  • Location: Portland, OR (commutable distance required)
  • Employment type: Full-time
  • Travel: Up to ~50% depending on client engagements
