What You’ll Do
Join the client’s Government & Public Services consulting practice as a Software Engineering Analyst focused on designing, building, and maintaining scalable, secure applications. You will work on teams that deliver software solutions supporting public-sector transformation initiatives, collaborate across disciplines (product, UX, cloud, security), and contribute to engineering best practices.
- Contribute to design, development, testing, and deployment of cloud-native and web applications.
- Write, review, and maintain high-quality code; participate in code reviews and pair programming.
- Automate builds, tests, and deployments (CI/CD) to improve reliability and delivery cadence.
- Help define and enforce engineering standards (security, performance, observability).
- Troubleshoot production issues and contribute to operational runbooks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Continuously learn and share knowledge about modern software and cloud technologies.
Minimum Qualifications
To be considered, candidates must meet these requirements:
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university and expected to graduate by Summer 2027, or have completed a bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Engineering/Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related program.
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance (where required).
- Able to reside within a commutable distance (examples: within a ~100-mile radius) of the assigned office and commute daily if required.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to approximately 50% based on client needs.
- Candidates must be at least 18 years of age at the time of employment.
Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills are required; attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment are essential.
Preferred Qualifications
- Cumulative GPA of 3.4 or higher.
- Internship, project, or coursework experience in software engineering, cloud development, or related projects.
- Familiarity with one or more modern programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript).
- Experience with source control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Exposure to secure development practices, containerization (Docker), and infrastructure-as-code.

Compensation & Logistics
- Employment type: Full-time (entry-level).
- Estimated salary range (provided by the client): $95,000 — $98,000 per year.
