Overview
Confidential Client is hiring entry-level consultants for a Software Engineering role with an AI concentration. This position offers mentorship from experienced engineers and exposure to product-focused consulting work across industries such as finance, healthcare, energy, and startups. You'll contribute to modern software systems, AI integrations, web and mobile applications, and legacy modernization efforts while learning consulting skills and delivery practices.
Primary Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product teams to design and implement software solutions.
- Work closely with clients to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Contribute to iterative delivery using Agile practices.
- Leverage AI tools to accelerate analysis, synthesize complex information, and support data-driven recommendations — exercising good judgment when evaluating outputs.
- Apply AI-enabled technologies (generative AI, automation, RAG pipelines, agent-based systems) to improve insights and delivery efficiency.
- Gain hands-on experience across backend, frontend, mobile, database, cloud, and AI tooling.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in progress with expected graduation between December 2026 and August 2027 (candidates must be on track to graduate within this window; graduation date will be verified).
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
- Reside within 50 miles of your assigned office prior to your start date (role follows a hybrid work model emphasizing team collaboration).
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% (travel expenses covered by Confidential Client).
- Experience integrating AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) into workflows and the critical thinking to evaluate outputs, mitigate bias, and maintain high-quality results.
Preferred Qualifications
- Majors such as Computer Science (AI concentration preferred), Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or Information Systems.
Compensation & Benefits
- Estimated yearly salary shown on the source listing: $95,624 (estimated). Actual compensation may vary based on geography, experience, skills, education, and internal equity.
