What You’ll Do

• Perform software development as part of a cross-discipline engineering team building defense and aerospace systems.
• Provide direct support for program execution and proposal activities.
• Develop high-performance Linux software in C++ and/or Java, with an emphasis on scalability and runtime performance.
• Use software and hardware simulators during development and testing.
• Integrate software into larger systems within engineering and test labs.
• Work 1st shift, 100% on-site at the Westford, MA facility.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and 2+ years of relevant software development experience.
• Hands-on experience developing Linux applications in C++ and/or Java focused on performance and scalability.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance is required; U.S. citizenship is required.
• Willingness and ability to work fully on-site in Westford, MA (1st shift).

Preferred Qualifications

• BS in Software Engineering or a related major is highly preferred.
• Experience with algorithm development and implementation (imaging, navigation, communications, etc.).
• Experience with Linux networking and multithreaded application development.
• Cybersecurity experience (PKI, secure boot, Linux hardening).
• Familiarity with imaging systems, control systems, navigation, or ISR (intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance).

Security Clearance

• This position requires a DoD Secret security clearance.
• Active, existing security clearance is required after day 1 (per client requirements).
• U.S. citizenship is required for eligibility to hold the required clearance.

Location & Work Type

• Onsite — Westford, MA (100% on-site, 1st shift).
• This is a U.S.-based role; appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply if residing in a U.S. territory.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range (good-faith estimate): 68,900 USD — 131,100 USD per year.
• Benefits may include (dependent on hiring business unit): medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, paid time off, parental leave, employee assistance programs, tuition assistance, and potential incentive compensation programs.
• Final offer considers role, experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
