What You’ll Do

  • Assist in the development and configuration of applications on the ServiceNow platform using App Engine Studio.
  • Support implementation and customization of ITSM modules, including Incident, Change, and Request Management.
  • Develop and maintain ServiceNow components such as forms, fields, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, workflows, and Flow Designer solutions.
  • Participate in requirements analysis, solution design, testing, and documentation.
  • Collaborate with senior developers, system administrators, and functional stakeholders to deliver reliable platform solutions.
  • Troubleshoot platform issues and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Follow ServiceNow development best practices and security standards.
  • Maintain clear documentation for configurations and delivered solutions.

What We’re Looking For

  • U.S. Citizenship is required for this role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Strong understanding of programming fundamentals and software development concepts.
  • Proficiency or coursework experience with JavaScript.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and web-based application concepts.
  • Familiarity with relational databases and data modeling concepts.
  • Foundational understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) or IT operations principles.
  • Ability to learn new tools and technologies quickly.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Academic, internship, or project experience with enterprise systems or SaaS platforms.
  • Exposure to low-code or no-code development platforms.
  • Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience consuming or building REST APIs.

Certifications & Training

  • This position requires obtaining the following ServiceNow certifications within six (6) months of hire:
    • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
    • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
  • Training and certification support will be provided.
