- Model domain logic (rule graphs, execution state, lifecycle workflows) as clean, deterministic, well-tested code.
- Design and maintain PostgreSQL-backed, multi-tenant data models, including schema migrations and tenant isolation.
- Integrate security throughout the lifecycle: authentication/authorization (OAuth2/OIDC), RBAC, and CI/CD practices.
- Build and maintain real-time data and event pipelines (SSE/websockets) and integrations with third-party data providers.
- Work cross-functionally with engineering, data science, and underwriting teams to apply software development best practices.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Solid understanding of software development principles and best practices.
- Experience with Python and web frameworks (FastAPI, Flask, or similar).
- Experience with TypeScript/JavaScript and a modern React framework (React or Next.js).

- Comfortable with Git-based workflows and producing well-structured pull requests.
- Strong written technical communication skills.
- Working knowledge of Linux and familiarity with cloud platforms.
Nice-to-Have
- Infrastructure experience: containerization, orchestration (Kubernetes), CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code.
- Backend depth: SQL ORMs, authentication & authorization patterns, multi-tenant systems design.
- Async programming, event streaming (SSE/websockets), and observability tooling.
- Interest or experience in domain modeling, rules engines, workflow/DAG execution, or compilers/interpreters.
