What You’ll Do

This Software Engineer role will help design, develop, test, and maintain software applications used by our confidential client. Responsibilities include:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain reliable software based on business and technical requirements
• Write clean, efficient, reusable, and maintainable code
• Build and integrate APIs, backend services, and application components
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, QA, design) to clarify requirements and deliver features
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and performance issues
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and deployment activities
• Work with relational and/or NoSQL databases to store and retrieve application data
• Follow version-control best practices (Git) and CI/CD processes
• Contribute to technical documentation, system improvements, and application upgrades
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

• Proficiency in at least one programming language: Java, Python, JavaScript, C#, or C++
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming (OOP)
• Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) principles
• Working knowledge of databases and SQL fundamentals
• Experience with Git or similar version-control systems
• Basic debugging, testing, and troubleshooting skills
• Understanding of APIs and common software architectures
• Strong analytical, logical reasoning, and problem-solving abilities
• Effective verbal and written communication; ability to collaborate in a team environment

Preferred Skills

Candidates with any of the following will be strongly considered:

• Frontend: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React.js, or Angular
• Backend: Node.js, Spring Boot, .NET, Django, or Flask
• Databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or SQL Server
• Cloud: AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
• REST APIs, microservices, containerization (Docker), and CI/CD pipelines
• Unit testing and automated testing frameworks
• Familiarity with system design fundamentals and application security practices
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Engineering, or related field preferred
• 0–5 years of experience in software engineering, application development, or related technical roles
• Fresh graduates with strong programming fundamentals and hands-on projects (academic, open-source, internships) are encouraged to apply
