What You’ll Do

As a Software Engineer supporting Transportation Management for our confidential client, you will design, build, and maintain solutions that enable efficient transportation and logistics operations across the enterprise.

  • Lead design and architecture for the SAP Transportation Management (SAP TM) application and related integrations.
  • Develop, enhance, and maintain scalable, secure, and well-documented software solutions.
  • Implement and support integrations between SAP TM and other enterprise applications to ensure reliable data flow.
  • Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and deliver timely fixes and improvements.
  • Partner with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors to translate requirements into technical solutions.
  • Propose process improvements and recommend modern tooling or automation to increase operational efficiency.
  • Document system designs, technical decisions, and operational procedures to align with IT standards and compliance requirements.
  • Contribute to project planning and delivery—balance priorities, estimate work, and meet deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field — or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2+ years of professional experience in software engineering, application development, or systems support.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; comfortable evaluating complex business needs and technical trade-offs.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and communicating technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and take initiative to drive outcomes.
  • Professional, collaborative approach with a commitment to quality and continuous improvement.

Nice-to-Have / Technical Skills

  • SAP Transportation Management (SAP TM) experience.
  • SAP ABAP development experience.
  • Experience implementing or configuring Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
  • Background with enterprise integrations, APIs, or middleware used to connect SAP and non-SAP systems.

Compensation & Benefits

The expected pay range for this position is $75,000 - $110,000 annually. Individual compensation will be based on qualifications, experience, and other relevant factors. Our client offers additional benefits and a comprehensive total rewards package.
