Role Summary

Confidential Client is hiring a Software Engineer to design, build, and operate scalable backend systems. This role focuses on production-grade services, containerized deployments, and infrastructure automation. You will collaborate with product and platform teams to deliver reliable APIs and services used in a high-growth environment.

What You’ll Do

• Design, implement, and maintain backend services with a focus on performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Own features end-to-end: design, coding, testing, deployment, monitoring, and incident response.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and containerized deployments (Docker + Kubernetes).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define APIs and integrate backend services.
• Troubleshoot production issues and drive root-cause analysis; implement fixes and preventive measures.
• Contribute to infrastructure-as-code and cloud automation to support rapid, safe delivery.

Minimum Qualifications

• 2–10 years of backend engineering experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Production experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proven track record of building and operating scalable backend systems end-to-end.
• Experience working at a reputable, growing company (examples: enterprise-scale or high-growth startup environments).

Nice-to-Have

• Fintech or payments infrastructure experience.
• Proficiency in Go or Node.js.
• Experience with Terraform and AWS infrastructure.
• Familiarity with observability tools (logging, metrics, distributed tracing).
