What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is seeking a motivated Software Engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain software applications that support business operations. The role requires hands-on problem solving, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and attention to quality and security.

• Diagnose and resolve intermediate hardware and software faults, including database queries, system configuration issues, and API integration errors, escalating complex cases as needed
• Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and systems
• Write, modify, and review software code using appropriate programming languages and development tools
• Develop and integrate software components, databases, and application programming interfaces (APIs)
• Conduct software testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to identify and resolve technical issues
• Evaluate existing systems and recommend improvements to enhance functionality, performance, and reliability
• Prepare technical specifications, software documentation, and system design documents
• Monitor software performance and implement updates, upgrades, and maintenance
• Ensure solutions comply with technical standards, security requirements, and organizational policies
• Participate in system analysis, implementation, deployment, and provide technical support when required

What You’ll Bring

• A relevant bachelor’s degree or higher in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Practical experience in software development and programming
• Knowledge of software development methodologies, databases, and software testing practices
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

• Experience with API integrations and diagnosing integration errors
• Familiarity with querying and optimizing databases
• Exposure to software performance monitoring and deployment processes
• Previous experience working in a commercial software development environment
