What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is hiring experienced software engineers to join a mission-focused, fully onsite program in Denver, CO. You will design, build, and operate scalable multi-tier and microservice applications for government-intelligence programs, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, production-ready solutions.
- Develop and maintain multi-tier and microservice-based applications.
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment (GitLab CI, Jenkins).
- Containerize applications and operate Kubernetes/OpenShift clusters.
- Automate infrastructure and deployments with IaC tools (Ansible, Terraform) and GitOps practices (ArgoCD, GitLab).
- Instrument and maintain monitoring, logging, and observability (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, ELK).
- Troubleshoot in Linux environments and write automation scripts to streamline operations.
- Follow DevSecOps principles: integrate security, identity, and access management into the SDLC.
Technical Experience We’re Seeking
Basic Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience developing multi-tiered or microservice applications.
- Experience with at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Containerization experience (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift).
- Proficiency building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins).
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, or similar).
- Solid Linux experience.
- Active Top Secret (TS) clearance required to start, with ability to obtain/maintain TS/SCI with Polygraph.
Desired Skills
- Prior experience supporting U.S. government agencies or intelligence community programs.
- Hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (preferred).
- Infrastructure-as-Code experience (Ansible, Terraform).
- Experience deploying and maintaining Kubernetes distributions.
- Familiarity with GitOps workflows (GitLab, ArgoCD).
- Monitoring and logging tooling experience (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, ELK Stack).
- Familiarity with ESXi and virtualization environments.
Other Skills
- Solid understanding of the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Basic networking, security, and firewall concepts.
- DevSecOps mindset: incorporate security and IAM into development and operations.
- Automation-first approach to reduce manual operational work.
Requirements You Bring
- Active Top Secret clearance required to start and the ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI with Polygraph.
- Ability to obtain and maintain program access and meet on-site reporting requirements for the Denver, CO program.
- Must be eligible to work on U.S. government contracts and comply with applicable federal and state hiring requirements.
