What You'll Do

Confidential Client is hiring a Software Engineer to design and deliver device setup solutions, SDKs, and cloud integrations that create seamless customer experiences. You will own features end-to-end, collaborate with product and design, and help scale distributed systems that handle persistent storage and high availability.

• Develop device setup solutions and SDKs for both first-party and third‑party products
• Integrate cloud services and APIs to support customer flows and telemetry
• Design and build scalable distributed services and persistent storage solutions
• Own major deliverables from design through testing and production rollout
• Mentor and guide other engineers on architecture, code quality, and best practices
• Work cross-functionally with Product Managers and Designers to translate product vision into technical solutions
• Participate in code reviews, CI/CD, and operational monitoring

What You'll Need

• 3+ years of professional software development experience
• 2+ years designing or architecting systems with attention to reliability and scaling
• Proficiency in at least one high‑level programming language (e.g., Java, Python, Go, JavaScript/TypeScript)
• Experience building SDKs or client libraries and integrating cloud services
• Hands-on experience with distributed systems and persistent storage patterns
• Familiarity with agile development practices and the full SDLC (code reviews, source control, builds, testing, operations)
• Strong communication skills and a track record of collaborating across teams
• Bachelor's degree preferred (or equivalent practical experience)

Location & work arrangement: Confidential Client is based in Seattle, WA. The role supports telecommute/remote work (telecommute policy applies). Candidates located in the U.S. are preferred.
