What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is seeking an entry-level Software Engineer to join an engineering team delivering software for government/defense missions. You will contribute to design, implementation, testing and maintenance of distributed data-processing and cloud-based systems.

• Build, test and maintain MapReduce pipelines and related data-processing code
• Develop and operate cloud-hosted services and components
• Work with proprietary tools (GhostMachine) and QTA workflows to support platform requirements
• Troubleshoot, debug and optimize system performance in development and production
• Contribute to technical design reviews, documentation and peer code reviews
• Follow secure-development practices and support mission-focused engineering processes

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university is required, OR four (4) years of relevant software engineering experience may be substituted
• Must be a U.S. citizen
• Must currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in collaborative, mission-driven teams

Compensation & Benefits

• Annual salary range: $130,000 - $270,000 (dependant on years of experience)
• Up to 20% 401(k) contribution (vested from day one; no matching required)
• $3,600 HSA contribution
• 6 weeks paid time off
• Company-paid Medical / Dental / Vision / Life Insurance / Short- and Long-Term Disability / AD&D
• Above-market hourly rates where applicable
