About the role

Confidential Client is seeking a Software Engineer (Infra/Product) to join a fast-growing AI / developer infrastructure team in San Francisco, CA. This is a full-time, on-site role focused on developer tooling, infrastructure and full-stack product work using TypeScript. The position is well-suited for engineers with 1–5 years of experience who enjoy owning features end-to-end and contributing to SDKs, APIs and AI-powered workflows.

What You’ll Do

• Build and ship features across libraries, SDKs and APIs
• Work primarily with TypeScript across infrastructure and product codebases
• Own features from design and implementation through production rollout and support
• Collaborate with engineering leadership on customer needs and product roadmap
• Contribute to AI/ML-powered workflows and developer tooling, and to open-source projects where applicable

Who You Are

• 1–5 years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong commercial TypeScript experience
• Comfortable across full-stack, product, platform or infrastructure engineering tasks
• Interest in developer tools, open source, SDKs and APIs
• Self-driven, high ownership mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment

Required Qualifications

• 1–5 years' software engineering experience
• Demonstrable experience building production services or SDKs with TypeScript
• Experience working across frontend and backend contexts (full-stack or platform work)
• Familiarity with modern web frameworks and cloud deployments

Nice to Have

• Experience with React and Next.js
• PostgreSQL and general SQL experience
• Familiarity with AWS and Vercel
• Background contributing to open-source libraries or developer-facing tooling
• Exposure to AI/ML workflows or infrastructure

Compensation & Benefits

• Base pay: $200,000 – $280,000 per year
• Competitive equity package

• Onsite — 5 days per week in San Francisco, CA
