What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is seeking a Software Engineer who will design and deliver analytics-driven software to support business decision-making. This role blends data visualization, software development, automation, and business engagement.

• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI platforms.
• Analyze data from multiple sources to identify trends, insights, and process-improvement opportunities.
• Create meaningful metrics, KPIs, and data models that support business decisions.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain software solutions and automation using Python.
• Debug and troubleshoot applications, scripts, APIs, and data pipelines.
• Develop integrations between systems using REST APIs and other technologies.
• Automate repetitive business processes and workflows to increase efficiency.
• Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Participate in solution design, testing, deployment, documentation, and user support.
• Research and recommend opportunities to leverage AI, machine learning, and advanced analytics where appropriate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
• 0–3 years of professional experience, internship experience, or equivalent project experience.
• Proficiency writing clean, maintainable Python code.
• Experience creating dashboards and reports with Power BI, Tableau, or similar analytics platforms.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to learn new technologies and adapt to changing business needs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing web applications using React.
• Experience implementing or evaluating AI-powered solutions or agents.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and system integration.
• Experience with Git or other version control systems.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Familiarity with Power Platform technologies (Power Automate, Power Apps).
• Experience working with enterprise databases and analytics platforms.

Compensation & Employment Type

• Employment type: Full-time
• Base salary range: $100,000 — $135,063 per year (range provided by the client)
• Location: San Francisco, CA
