Role Overview

Confidential Client is hiring a Software Engineer to join a fully remote, U.S.-based engineering team working on cloud technology products and platforms. This role will deliver high-quality, scalable software, collaborate across product and design, and help evolve the systems that power the product.

What You’ll Do

• Design, implement, and maintain production-grade services and features for cloud-based applications
• Build reliable APIs and integrations that support product goals and customer needs
• Write automated tests and ensure code quality through code reviews and CI/CD pipelines
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues; improve observability and reliability
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to ship features iteratively
• Contribute to architecture and platform decisions with an emphasis on scalability and security

Minimum Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong programming skills in one or more languages (examples: Python, Java, Go, or JavaScript/TypeScript)
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and services typical to cloud-native apps
• Practical knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservices, or distributed system patterns
• Familiarity with version control (Git), automated testing, and CI/CD processes
• Effective communicator who can collaborate across time zones in a remote setting
• Authorized to work in the United States

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Familiarity with observability tooling (logging, metrics, tracing) and incident response
• Contributions to open-source projects or experience with developer tooling
• Experience in a SaaS or cloud-infrastructure company
