What You’ll Do

Join a Confidential Client in the Motor Vehicle Manufacturing industry to support development of next‑generation automotive infotainment head‑unit software. You will work on platform-level features across multiple vehicle programs, focusing on software integration, system testing, and high quality delivery aligned with C.A.S.E. (Connected, Autonomous, Shared, Electrification) initiatives.

  • Support development and integration of infotainment software (Java, C, C++, Android) into head unit platforms
  • Perform hands‑on system and vehicle‑level testing across multiple configurations
  • Analyze test results, reproduce issues, and identify root causes with clear reports
  • Collaborate with software integration partners and suppliers to keep development on track
  • Track deliverables, timelines, and milestones; communicate status across cross‑functional teams
  • Develop and maintain system requirements, specifications, and technical documentation
  • Research emerging infotainment technologies and propose improvements to features and processes

Minimum Qualifications

  • 1–3+ years of software development experience, or equivalent academic/project experience
  • BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering (or equivalent)
  • Experience or strong interest in software development using Java, C, C++, or Android platforms
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; organized and able to prioritize work independently
  • Proficiency with MS Office and collaboration tools (Confluence, SharePoint, etc.)
  • Ability to manage timelines and coordinate with cross‑functional teams
  • Valid Ohio driver’s license (required for vehicle/field testing and on‑site activities)
  • Employment type: Contractor

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with automotive infotainment systems (Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, voice recognition)
  • Familiarity with C.A.S.E. concepts and automotive development lifecycle
  • Experience using electrical test tools (oscilloscope, multimeter, etc.) for system validation
  • Experience working with global or cross‑cultural teams

Compensation & Details

  • Hourly rate: $20.00 – $38.00 / hour (Contract) — range provided by the client
  • Role: Onsite contractor in Raymond, OH (work involves vehicle/system testing and integration)
  • Industry: Motor Vehicle Manufacturing

Location & Work Type

  • Primary work location: Raymond, OH (on‑site required for testing and integration activities)
  • This is a contractor role with hands‑on system and vehicle testing responsibilities. Applicants must be able to travel to test facilities and hold a valid Ohio driver’s license.
