About the Role

Confidential Client is building an AI-native platform that streamlines specialty pharmacy workflows so clinicians spend time on patients, not paperwork. This is an early-career Software Engineer role where you'll ship to production quickly, work directly with customers, and learn from engineers who've built systems at scale.

You will:

• Ship well-scoped features and fixes independently with solid test coverage
• Use AI tools (Claude, Cursor, etc.) as first-class development aids and apply sound judgment about their outputs
• Learn domain workflows (pharmacy and clinical operations) and ask "why" when requirements seem off
• Proactively file bugs and UX issues you observe
• Level up fast through code review and pairing; your feedback loop is customers, not committees

What We’re Looking For

This role is a great fit for engineers who can demonstrate:

• Strong CS fundamentals and evidence of building (side projects, internships, open source, or startup experience)
• High learning velocity — you pick up new tech fast and enjoy unfamiliar problems
• Product curiosity and high agency beyond just writing code
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools, with thoughtfulness about their limits

Note: familiarity with the stack is helpful but not required. The team values learning speed.
