Role Overview

Confidential Client is hiring a Software Engineer (Contractor) based in Orlando, FL. The role focuses on designing, building, testing, and maintaining business/mission software solutions using Angular, Java, and TypeScript, while following established SDLC standards and collaboration tools.

What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, test, debug, and document software that solves business problems.
• Implement UI components using Angular and related libraries (e.g., PrimeNG or Kendo).
• Develop backend and integration logic using Java and apply secure, maintainable coding practices.
• Use TypeScript for frontend logic and ensure compatibility with modern web frameworks.
• Troubleshoot and correct program errors; analyze system capabilities and outputs to meet requirements.
• Follow software development lifecycle standards, processes, and tools throughout delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Bitbucket, Jira, and Confluence for source control, tracking, and documentation.
• Produce clear technical documentation and operating instructions.

Must-have Skills

• Angular
• Java
• TypeScript
• Experience with component libraries such as PrimeNG (or Kendo)
• Familiarity with Bitbucket, Jira, and Confluence
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent credential in a related field (per client requirement)

• Oracle PL/SQL
• Prior experience on contract engagements in Information Technology & Services
• Experience working in regulated or mission-driven environments
