What You’ll Do

We’re working with a Confidential Client to hire a Software Engineer who will work on a modern customer experience platform that integrates eCommerce with IT asset, cloud, and services management. This role emphasizes shipping high-quality software, using AI-assisted development tools, and owning outcomes end-to-end.

  • Actively use AI-powered development tools (code generation, agentic assistants, automated review tooling) to improve velocity and code quality
  • Design, implement, and maintain reliable, scalable services and web applications using C#, ASP.NET Core, React, and relational databases
  • Participate across the SDLC — design, build, test, deploy, and monitor — with a focus on clean code, performance, and observability
  • Collaborate with product managers, architects, and engineers to deliver customer-facing features and drive technical decisions
  • Participate in and contribute to code reviews, technical design sessions, and architecture discussions
  • Apply SOLID principles, domain-driven design thinking, and automated testing practices (unit/integration/TDD)
  • Support cloud-native, distributed system design in partnership with senior engineers and DevOps teams
  • Take part in Agile ceremonies and continuous improvement of engineering practices

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years building modern web applications with C# and ASP.NET Core
  • Hands-on experience with React or another modern JavaScript framework
  • Practical experience with relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and ORM frameworks
  • Demonstrated, regular use of AI coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude) in your development workflow
  • Comfortable working in a Git-centric, CI/CD environment with automated testing and deployment
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills; ability to work effectively across teams
  • Ability to travel up to 10%

Nice-to-Have / Preferred

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and/or AWS (PaaS experience preferred)
  • Experience with event-driven or distributed system architectures
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform a plus), and monitoring tools
  • Experience with Test-Driven Development and writing automated unit/integration tests
  • Exposure to Python, Databricks, or Elasticsearch
  • Experience integrating LLMs or agentic workflows into the SDLC or engineering toolchain

Compensation & Benefits

  • Estimated annual pay range: $80,000 - $125,000 (base salary) — final compensation depends on experience, skills, and location.
  • Benefits may include medical, vision, dental, 401(k), and flexible spending options.
  • Employment type: FULL_TIME
  • Work location: Oregon (TELECOMMUTE / remote-eligible) — applicants should be authorized to work in the U.S.
