What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is seeking a Software Engineer focused on Oracle HCM integrations to design, build, and support secure, scalable integrations between Oracle HCM Cloud and internal or external systems. You will work across the full software development lifecycle with product managers, architects, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into reliable technical solutions.

• Design, develop, and maintain integration orchestrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and related tools
• Build and consume REST and SOAP APIs; parse and generate XML and JSON payloads
• Implement Fast Formulas, data transformations, and error-handling routines
• Collaborate with product, security, and QA teams to validate integration behavior and performance
• Troubleshoot production issues and participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation when scheduled
• Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and integration diagrams
• Ensure integrations comply with security, data privacy, and regulatory requirements
• Support deployments and CI/CD processes in cloud environments (Azure, Google Cloud)

What We’re Looking For (Required)

• Experience designing and delivering Oracle HCM Cloud integrations (OIC experience preferred)
• Strong knowledge of REST and SOAP APIs, XML, JSON, and message transformations
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Integration Cloud, Fast Formulas, or equivalent integration platforms
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure or Google Cloud) and modern application frameworks
• Solid understanding of database concepts and working with relational databases and analytics systems
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug integration failures end-to-end
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to work with cross-functional teams
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Authorization to work in the United States (role located in Rochester, MN)

Nice to Have / Preferred

• Oracle certifications related to integrations or HCM
• Prior experience in healthcare or other regulated industries
• Familiarity with Agile practices and participation in sprint-based development
• Experience with CI/CD tooling and infrastructure-as-code principles

• Primary location: Rochester, MN (hybrid work arrangement; occasional onsite presence required)
• This role participates in a 24/7 on-call rotation as needed
• Full-time position
