About the Role

Confidential Client is hiring a Full-Stack Software Engineer (Entry → Mid) for a full-time, on-site role in Newport Beach, CA. You’ll join a small, fast-moving engineering team building a multi-tenant SaaS platform: dashboards that show staffing leaders true margins, integrations with ATS/payroll/accounting systems, and an AI agent product. You will own features end-to-end — database to UI — and ship to real customers following the team's testing and release processes.

Pay: $80,000 - $120,000 per year + equity and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain customer-facing React applications (components, state management, hooks).
• Implement backend features using a backend-as-a-service (preferred: Supabase) and relational databases (Postgres preferred).
• Design, build, and consume REST APIs; assist with integrations to third-party systems (ATS, payroll, accounting).
• Write and maintain SQL queries and database schemas for multi-tenant data isolation.
• Follow Git/GitHub workflows: feature branches, pull requests, and conflict resolution.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes; ship production-ready features.
• Use and contribute to AI-assisted coding workflows (Claude, OpenAI Codex) where applicable.
• Collaborate on UI/UX, analytics, and observability for reporting dashboards.
• Work with cloud deployment tools (Vercel, Cloudflare, AWS) and CI/CD pipelines.

Must-have Qualifications

• Shipped React applications (component design, state, hooks).
• Strong TypeScript experience, or comparable experience with another typed language.
• Experience with a backend-as-a-service (Supabase highly preferred; Firebase, Appwrite, Neon, or similar acceptable).
• SQL and relational database experience (Postgres a plus).
• Practical experience building and consuming REST APIs.
• Familiar with Git and GitHub collaboration workflows.
• Actively uses Claude Code or OpenAI Codex and can describe multi-agent workflows you use.
• Roughly 1–3 years of professional experience, or demonstrable equivalent through personal/open-source projects.

Preferred (Nice-to-have)

• Multi-tenant SaaS experience (data isolation and tenant-aware design).
• Experience building data/analytics/reporting features (dashboards, charts, warehouse queries).
• Familiarity with Tailwind CSS, TanStack Query, Zod, Vitest/Jest.
• Cloud deployment experience (Cloudflare, Vercel, AWS).
• Advanced Git tooling (worktrees) or custom automation tooling to speed development.
