What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to design and deliver enterprise-scale backend software with a focus on reliability, performance, and clean engineering practices for global operations.
- Design and develop robust, high-performance backend systems using Java 11+ and the Spring Boot ecosystem.
- Build and maintain microservices and event-driven architectures to process and distribute large-scale data.
- Develop data integration and pipeline components that connect distributed databases and real-time streaming platforms.
- Implement and optimize caching and data stores (e.g., Redis) for low-latency access patterns.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, operations, and other engineering teams to align technical solutions with business outcomes.
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will bring strong backend engineering experience, production expertise with enterprise data systems, and a pragmatic approach to performance and reliability.
- Professional experience in Java development and object-oriented design (Java 11+).
- Strong knowledge of Spring Boot, REST APIs, and enterprise integration patterns.
- Deep expertise in SQL Server: stored procedures, performance tuning, and data modeling.
- Experience with distributed event streaming and messaging platforms.
- Hands-on experience with Redis or similar caching layers.
- Familiarity with data pipeline concepts and modern front-end frameworks (Angular or React) is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and experience working in cross-functional teams.
