Position summary
Confidential Client is hiring an entry‑level Software Engineer (New Grad) to join an AI-focused engineering team. This role is ideal for recent graduates who want to build production software, collaborate across disciplines, and grow technically in an AI/software environment.
What You’ll Do
- Contribute to design, implementation, and testing of backend or full‑stack systems that support AI/ML products
- Write clean, maintainable production code and participate in code reviews
- Debug, profile, and optimize services for reliability and performance
- Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and other engineers to ship features end-to-end
- Help maintain CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and observability for services
- Learn and apply software engineering best practices, including automated testing and documentation
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong programming ability in at least one language (examples: Python, Java, C++, or JavaScript)
- Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles
- Familiarity with version control (git) and basic debugging/testing workflows
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively on small, cross-functional teams
- Eagerness to learn, iterate quickly, and take on new technical challenges
Nice to Have
- Internship or project experience building real-world software systems
- Exposure to machine learning workflows, model serving, or data pipelines
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
