What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is hiring entry-level software engineers to join technology teams working on large-scale payment and transaction systems. As a New College Graduate Software Engineer you will contribute to production code, learn from experienced engineers, and help deliver secure, reliable, and maintainable solutions.
- Write optimized, secure, and scalable code following industry best practices (unit tests, code reviews).
- Build end-to-end solutions that meet product and technical requirements.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, QA, and other engineers in an Agile environment.
- Diagnose and resolve software issues using root-cause analysis and observability tools.
- Implement automated tests and CI/CD workflows to maintain high quality.
- Use and evaluate emerging tools (including responsible use of generative AI assistants) to increase productivity.
- Participate in design discussions and contribute ideas to improve system reliability, performance, and security.
- Travel occasionally (5–10%) for team events or stakeholder meetings.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, CIS/MIS, Cybersecurity, Business, or a related field.
- Graduation date between May 2026 and August 2027.
- Less than 6 months of relevant professional work experience.
- Permanent authorization to work in the U.S. required; this role does not provide visa sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, Go, or .NET.
- Familiarity with modern web frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js).
- Experience with REST APIs, automation and testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, unit test frameworks).
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS), relational databases (MySQL/Postgres), and data visualization tools (Power BI).
- Basic knowledge of version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and software engineering best practices.
- Understanding of generative AI tools and concepts (integration patterns, prompt design) is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and clear professional communication skills.
- Ability to learn quickly, adapt to changing requirements, and collaborate effectively across teams.
Compensation & Benefits
- Estimated base salary for U.S. hires: $114,400 USD per year. This estimate may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable) and may vary based on job-related factors such as skills, experience, and location.
- Position may be eligible for bonus and equity.

Work Location & Schedule
