What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is hiring Software Engineers across Junior, Mid, and Senior levels to design, build, and maintain secure enterprise software for a mission-focused program. Engineers on this team work primarily on backend services and APIs, with opportunities to contribute to frontend Angular components and full-featured, distributed applications.

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain backend services and REST APIs using modern .NET and ASP.NET Core.
  • Implement persistence layers and data access using Entity Framework / EF Core and PostgreSQL.
  • Build frontend components using Angular and TypeScript as needed.
  • Implement asynchronous and event-driven features using RabbitMQ and related patterns.
  • Write automated unit and integration tests and participate in continuous integration / delivery (CI/CD).
  • Troubleshoot defects and performance issues; perform code reviews and collaborate on design.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies (planning, refinement, sprints, retrospectives).
  • Document interfaces, technical decisions, and implementation details.
  • Contribute to improving engineering practices, architecture, and reusable platform capabilities.

More experienced engineers will own larger features, lead design for components, identify cross-component risks, and mentor junior team members.

Technical Environment & Tools

  • Backend: C#, .NET 8+, ASP.NET Core
  • Data: PostgreSQL, Entity Framework / EF Core, SQL
  • Frontend: Angular, TypeScript, HTML/CSS
