What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is looking for a hands-on Software Engineer to design, build, and deliver customer-facing features for a multi-tenant SaaS Transportation Management System (TMS). You’ll work across the Angular front end and .NET back end, own end-to-end feature delivery, and help raise engineering standards across the team.

• Design, implement, and ship new features across an Angular (v15+) front end and .NET / .NET Core (C#) Web API back end
• Own larger features end-to-end: design, implementation, tests, deployment, and follow-up
• Diagnose and fix complex defects in application and background worker services
• Write and maintain unit tests; help extend automated test coverage and testing practices
• Lead and participate in code reviews; provide constructive, high-signal feedback
• Mentor mid-level and junior engineers through pairing, design reviews, and documentation
• Collaborate with product, QA, and support to turn customer needs into reliable technical solutions
• Contribute in an Agile environment: sprint planning, standups, demos, and retrospectives

Qualifications

• Strong experience with .NET / .NET Core (C#)
• Strong experience with Angular 15+ (component architecture, services, RxJS)
• Proven experience designing, building, and consuming Web API / REST endpoints
• Strong Microsoft SQL Server skills, including query writing and performance tuning
• Solid TypeScript skills and modern front-end patterns
• Experience with an ORM such as Entity Framework Core
• Comfortable with Git-based source control and pull request workflows
• Proven experience writing and maintaining unit tests and improving team testing practices
• Ability to convert ambiguous problems into clear technical approaches
• Strong communication skills and experience working collaboratively on small teams
• Must be authorized to work in the United States (verification required)

Nice to have

• Azure experience (App Service, Storage, Service Bus, Application Insights)
• Experience with multi-tenant SaaS applications and tenancy isolation patterns
• Domain knowledge in logistics, freight, supply chain, or EDI integrations
• Experience working in large, long-lived codebases (dependency and framework upgrades)
• Performance troubleshooting on large relational datasets
• Experience leading technical design discussions and architecture trade-offs

Education & Experience

• 5+ years of professional experience building C#, ASP.NET Core MVC, and Web API services (or equivalent experience)
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent professional experience
