What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is hiring a Software Engineer / ML Engineer to build and operate scalable data and ML systems used for high-throughput production applications. You will work across the stack—data ingestion, feature extraction, model development, and platform operationalization—helping deliver reliable, performant pipelines and services.

• Design and implement distributed, scalable services for data processing and ML workloads
• Build and maintain ETL/data pipelines using Spark, SQL, Snowflake, Hadoop or similar technologies
• Develop, optimize, and productionize machine learning models and inference services
• Collaborate with data engineers, SREs, and product teams to define requirements and drive deployment
• Contribute to feature extraction, annotation, and tooling for data labeling and quality control
• Improve system performance, reliability, and observability for high-throughput applications
• Participate in code reviews, design reviews, and mentor junior engineers

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or C++
• Experience with distributed systems and building scalable applications
• Hands-on experience with big data tooling: Spark, SQL, Snowflake, and/or Hadoop
• Experience developing or deploying machine learning models or operationalizing ML platforms
• Solid software engineering practices: testing, CI/CD, observability, and debugging at scale

Nice-to-have / Preferred

• Experience building feature stores, annotation platforms, or full-stack tooling for ML/data workflows
• Background in high-throughput or low-latency production systems
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and managed data services
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and infrastructure-as-code

Compensation (as listed by client)

• Base salary (as listed by client): USD 40 – 50 per year
