What You’ll Do

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain Java/Spring Boot microservices for an enterprise notification platform.
  • Build and maintain distributed, event-driven services that support fraud detection, security, and customer engagement products.
  • Implement and extend Kafka-based messaging and other event-driven architectures for high-volume transaction processing.
  • Translate product and technical requirements into scalable, resilient, and secure software designs.
  • Drive platform modernization efforts: service decomposition, resiliency improvements, and cloud-native deployment practices.
  • Participate in code reviews, CI/CD workflows, production support, incident response, and root cause analysis.

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2–5 years of professional software development experience using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Strong understanding of REST APIs and microservice architectures.
  • Experience or familiarity with messaging/event-driven systems (Kafka or similar).
  • Solid software design fundamentals: object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms.
  • Experience with source control, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Ability to troubleshoot production issues and perform incident RCA for high-volume systems.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills — able to work with cross-functional teams.
