What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is seeking a motivated Software Engineer (entry / junior level) to join a technology consulting team supporting client-facing projects. You will contribute to design, development, testing, and deployment of software solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Collaborate with product owners, QA, and other engineers to deliver features on schedule
- Write clean, maintainable code and follow team coding standards
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production and development issues
- Assist with writing and maintaining unit and integration tests
- Contribute to documentation for code, APIs, and deployment procedures
Who You Are / Qualifications
We welcome candidates who are early in their software engineering careers and eager to learn in a consulting environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience — or demonstrable coding/project experience
- Some hands-on experience building applications (internships, coursework, bootcamps, or professional experience)
- Comfortable with software development fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, version control)
- Strong communication skills and ability to work on client-facing teams
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Eligible to work in the United States (W2 employment)
Preferred (if available)
- Familiarity with one or more modern languages (Java, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, etc.)
- Experience with web frameworks, RESTful APIs, or cloud services
- Exposure to CI/CD and automated testing
