What You’ll Do

You’ll join a small product team and own real features from idea to production. Work across frontend, backend, and mobile to deliver high-quality, user-facing software used daily by mortgage brokerages and loan officers.

  • Build full-stack features using TypeScript, React, Vite and Tailwind on the web.
  • Implement server-side logic with Cloud Functions and Firestore (or similar DBs).
  • Ship and maintain React Native mobile features (Expo).
  • Integrate third-party services like Stripe and Twilio for payments and messaging.
  • Collaborate on design, propose pragmatic solutions, and iterate quickly with tight feedback loops.
  • Use AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., Claude Code) to accelerate development and review outputs with engineering judgment.
  • Participate in code reviews, paired programming sessions, and lightweight technical design.
  • Help maintain reliable auth, endpoints, and data flows while keeping a strong UX focus.

What We’re Looking For

  • 2–4 years building production software or a strong portfolio of shipped projects.
  • Strong TypeScript and React skills, including handling async state well.
  • Comfortable explaining design decisions and trade-offs from projects you built.
  • Backend familiarity: endpoints, authentication, and databases (Firebase experience helpful but not required).
  • Experience using or eagerness to adopt AI coding tools.
  • A good eye for UI details — you care how things look and feel.
  • Located in the Maitland / Orlando area and able to be in the office a few days per week (hybrid).

Nice-to-haves

  • Firebase / Google Cloud Platform experience
  • React Native + Expo mobile experience
  • Fintech or other regulated-industry experience
  • Stripe and Twilio integrations
  • Product/design sensibility

How We Work

  • Hybrid setup: a few days in the Maitland office, flexible remote days otherwise.
  • Flexible hours — focus on outcomes and shipping, not strict schedules.
  • Small, low-ceremony team with few meetings and a lot of ownership.
  • Practical use of AI tooling as a force multiplier; training and access provided.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base: $85,000–$105,000 per year
  • Benefits, hardware, and access to LLM/AI tools for development
  • No requirement for a CS degree; merit and demonstrable work matter most
