What You’ll Do
This entry-level Software Engineer role focuses on building data engineering and AI-enabled analytics solutions. You will work on end-to-end data pipelines, assist with machine learning support, and help deliver production-ready data products.
- Develop, test, and maintain data engineering and AI solutions using Python.
- Write, optimize, and maintain SQL for extraction, transformation, and analysis.
- Design and support end-to-end data pipelines and workflows (ETL/ELT).
- Collect, clean, transform, and analyze structured and unstructured data.
- Support machine learning / AI model development workflows and deployment support.
- Automate repetitive data processing tasks and monitor jobs.
- Troubleshoot data pipeline, database, and ETL issues.
- Document technical solutions, workflows, and runbooks.
- Collaborate with developers, data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders.
What We're Looking For
We’re seeking candidates with 1–4 years of experience who are excited to grow in data engineering and AI.
- 1–4 years experience in Data Engineering, Data Analytics, Machine Learning, or related roles.
- Strong proficiency in Python.
- Solid SQL skills and experience with relational databases.
- Understanding of ETL concepts, data transformation, and pipeline design.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Clear written and verbal communication; effective team collaboration.
- Willingness to relocate anywhere within the United States for onsite client projects.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
These will help you ramp faster and contribute to more complex projects.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, Databricks).
- Familiarity with PySpark and processing large datasets.
- Knowledge of AWS services (S3, Lambda, EC2) and orchestration tools (Airflow).
- Familiarity with machine learning concepts, generative AI, or computer vision.
- Experience with GitLab or other version control systems.
- R programming experience is a plus.
- Basic probability and statistics knowledge.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Entry-level / early-career candidates with relevant internships or project experience are encouraged to apply.
- Must be open to relocation within the United States for client-facing, onsite projects.

- Pay range: $30.00/hr – $35.00/hr (base pay range provided by the Confidential Client; actual pay will depend on skills and experience)
