What You’ll Do

Plans, conducts, and coordinates software development activities for embedded and test systems. Work will include designing, developing, documenting, testing, and debugging software that provides logical and mathematical solutions to business and mission problems. Apply appropriate standards, processes and tools across the development life cycle and collaborate with hardware engineers and test teams to integrate software with lab and automated test equipment.

• Design and implement software for hardware/software integration and data acquisition.
• Develop, document, and maintain code, test cases, and operational instructions.
• Debug software and resolve issues related to input acquisition, output requirements, and system interfaces.
• Apply SDLC best practices (requirements, design, implementation, verification).
• Support automated test systems and assist in developing test automation and ATE frameworks.

Required Qualifications

• SECRET clearance to start (must be current and verifiable)
• Proficient in Python
• Experience integrating software with hardware (DAQs, scopes, power supplies, etc.)
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field (or equivalent experience)
• Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence)
• Familiarity with laboratory and test equipment (oscilloscopes, DMMs, power supplies, DAQs)
• Experience with TestStand and automated test software
• Prior Automated Test Equipment (ATE) design experience
• Comfortable working in cross-functional teams with engineers and technicians

Work Location & Employment Type

This role is located in Littleton, CO. This is a CONTRACTOR role. Candidates must be able to work on-site in Littleton as required by project needs.

Security Clearance

SECRET clearance is required to start. Candidates must be able to maintain eligibility for required clearance level throughout the contract.
