Role Overview

Confidential client is seeking a Software Engineer to join a cross-functional engineering team based in Irvine, CA. In this full-time role you will write timely, high-quality, well-tested code and collaborate with product, QA, and other stakeholders to deliver reliable software. This position requires a bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) and a minimum of 5 years of relevant software development experience. The role may offer work-from-home flexibility.

What You’ll Do

• Deliver timely, high-quality, well-tested code that meets product requirements
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (product, QA, design, operations) to clarify requirements and ship features
• Participate in design and code reviews to maintain code quality and consistency
• Write and maintain automated tests and help ensure strong testing practices across the team
• Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, performance issues, and edge cases in production and staging
• Contribute to continuous improvement of development and release processes

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or foreign equivalent)
• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Proven ability to write well-tested, maintainable code
• Experience working effectively in cross-functional teams
• Strong problem-solving skills and clear written and verbal communication
• Eligible to work in the United States

Location & Compensation

• Location: Irvine, CA (may work from home)
• Employment type: Full-time
• Education requirement: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent
• Base salary range: $184,558 - $185,000 per year
