What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is seeking a pragmatic, collaborative Software Engineer to join their product engineering team in Irvine, CA. You will build reliable, maintainable software features and work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver value for customers.

• Design, implement, test, and maintain production-quality software.
• Participate in system design discussions and propose practical technical solutions.
• Collaborate on feature requirements, break work into tasks, and estimate delivery.
• Write and review code, maintain testing and CI/CD practices, and improve engineering standards.
• Troubleshoot production issues and drive root-cause analysis and remediation.
• Communicate clearly with cross-functional partners and contribute to a healthy engineering culture.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for engineers who write clean, well-tested code and who enjoy solving real customer problems. Candidates should demonstrate strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

• Proven experience building and shipping software in a professional environment.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
• Comfortable working with source control, code review processes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to translate product requirements into technical designs and implementation plans.
• Strong collaboration skills and a bias for measurable outcomes.

These are not strict requirements but will help you ramp faster and contribute broadly.

• Experience working on web or cloud-based products.
• Familiarity with automated testing and observability practices.
• Prior experience working in an agile/product-driven team.

Location & Schedule

• Location: Irvine, CA (on-site). Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. and able to commute to the Irvine office as required.
