What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is seeking an experienced full‑stack Software Engineer to design, build, test, and maintain business‑critical web applications used by legal and financial professionals. You will own features end‑to‑end, collaborate with product and design, and help shape the architecture and delivery practices for a fast‑moving engineering team.

  • Design, develop, and deliver end‑to‑end solutions aligned with enterprise architecture.
  • Implement and maintain backend services using Java, Spring, Hibernate, and related frameworks.
  • Build responsive front‑end interfaces with JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frameworks (React or Angular).
  • Create, optimize, and maintain SQL queries and database interactions.
  • Build and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
  • Troubleshoot performance, scalability, security, and reliability issues.
  • Work with cloud services (AWS: EC2, ECS, Lambda, S3, SQS) and serverless patterns.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies (Scrum/Kanban) and contribute to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of hands‑on software development experience delivering production applications.
  • Strong proficiency in Java and server‑side frameworks (Spring, Spring JPA, Hibernate, JSF).
  • Solid front‑end experience: JavaScript/TypeScript, ReactJS and/or Angular, HTML, CSS.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience writing complex queries.
  • Practical experience with AWS services (EC2, ECS, Lambda, S3, SQS).
  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
  • Experience with Agile software development processes.
  • Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have / Plus

  • Experience with Node.js and Python.
  • Familiarity with modern AI developer tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Amazon Kiro).
  • Prior work in legal tech, fintech, or Business Consulting and Services environments.
  • Experience with serverless architectures and microservices.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range (provided by client): $120,000 — $140,000 per year (actual pay determined by experience, skills, and location).
