Who We Are

Confidential Client builds a cloud-native simulation platform for digital mission engineering used by aerospace engineers. Our stack includes React and TypeScript on the front end, Python and Django for services, Kubernetes for orchestration, and Postgres for data. As an intern you’ll work across the stack to help deliver scalable, faster-than-real-time analyses and compelling visualizations.

What You’ll Do

• Build full-stack features — from React UI components to Django API endpoints
• Design and implement API contracts that support performant user experiences
• Create intuitive data visualizations that surface complex simulation outputs
• Write automated tests across the stack
• Deliver iteratively using Lean/Agile practices
• Contribute to a culture of learning, empowerment, and achievement

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent demonstrated experience
• Hands-on experience building web applications with React
• Familiarity with at least one server-side language (Python preferred)
• U.S. citizen or permanent resident status required

Additional Desirable Experience

• Experience with Django or another web framework
• Experience with relational databases (Postgres, SQL)
• Experience with containerization (Docker) and Kubernetes
• Experience with data visualization libraries/tools
• Interest or experience in aerospace or simulation systems
