What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level Software Engineer (Integrations) to design, build, and maintain integrations and backend services used in healthcare settings. You will work on software where quality, performance, and stability directly impact clinical workflows and patient care.
- Design and develop new features and modules for healthcare integration solutions
- Maintain and improve existing applications with a focus on reliability and performance
- Write clean, maintainable code and automated tests across the full development lifecycle (design → delivery → support)
- Build and consume REST and SOAP APIs to integrate with hospital and clinical IT systems
- Implement reusable components and services to improve scalability and consistency
- Debug, profile, and optimize systems to meet performance and availability goals
- Produce technical documentation and participate in knowledge sharing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide remote support to international customers when required
Qualifications
- Solid experience or coursework using Microsoft C# and ASP.NET Core
- Practical understanding of building and consuming RESTful and SOAP-based APIs
- Familiarity with distributed systems and system integration patterns
- Awareness of software quality principles: testing, performance, maintainability
- Comfortable working across the full development lifecycle and supporting production systems
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with customers and stakeholders
- Experience in healthcare, medical devices, or highly regulated industries is a plus
- Entry-level candidates with relevant internships, projects, or bootcamp experience are encouraged to apply
