What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is expanding its internal development capabilities to improve collaboration, document management, and workflow automation. As a Software Engineer focused on SharePoint and the Microsoft Power Platform, you will design, build, and maintain solutions that streamline internal business processes and increase productivity.
- Design, develop, and maintain custom SharePoint Online solutions using SPFx and modern web technologies
- Build workflows, forms, and dashboards using Power Automate, Power Apps, and Power BI
- Integrate SharePoint with Microsoft 365 services (Teams, Outlook, OneDrive) and third-party systems via REST APIs
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical designs and specifications
- Participate in Git-based version control, code reviews, automated testing, and deployment processes
- Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and documentation for internally developed solutions
- Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and compliant with firm policies and applicable legal standards
What We’re Looking For
Required qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field — or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of SharePoint development experience (SharePoint Online preferred)
- Proficiency with SharePoint Framework (SPFx)
- Strong experience with Power Platform: Power Automate, Power Apps, and Power BI
- Solid skills in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
- Experience working with REST APIs and relational databases (MS SQL preferred)
- Familiarity with Git workflows, code reviews, and CI/CD practices
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication and collaboration skills
Preferred qualifications
- Experience using AI-assisted tools such as Copilot
- Background in professional services or legal environments
- Knowledge of document management systems and legal compliance standards
Schedule & Location
- Monday–Friday; standard 8-hour day shift
- Indianapolis office with hybrid work option
Travel & Physical Requirements
- No travel required
- Prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer
- Frequent use of hands for typing and office tasks
- Occasional standing, walking, bending, and reaching
- Ability to lift and carry up to 10–15 pounds (e.g., files)
- Visual acuity to read screens and analyze detailed information
- Ability to communicate effectively via phone, video, and in person
