What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is expanding its internal development capabilities to improve collaboration, document management, and workflow automation. As a Software Engineer focused on SharePoint and the Microsoft Power Platform, you will design, build, and maintain solutions that streamline internal business processes and increase productivity.

• Design, develop, and maintain custom SharePoint Online solutions using SPFx and modern web technologies
• Build workflows, forms, and dashboards using Power Automate, Power Apps, and Power BI
• Integrate SharePoint with Microsoft 365 services (Teams, Outlook, OneDrive) and third-party systems via REST APIs
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical designs and specifications
• Participate in Git-based version control, code reviews, automated testing, and deployment processes
• Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and documentation for internally developed solutions
• Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and compliant with firm policies and applicable legal standards

What We’re Looking For

Required qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field — or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of SharePoint development experience (SharePoint Online preferred)
• Proficiency with SharePoint Framework (SPFx)
• Strong experience with Power Platform: Power Automate, Power Apps, and Power BI
• Solid skills in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
• Experience working with REST APIs and relational databases (MS SQL preferred)
• Familiarity with Git workflows, code reviews, and CI/CD practices
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication and collaboration skills

Preferred qualifications

• Experience using AI-assisted tools such as Copilot
• Background in professional services or legal environments
• Knowledge of document management systems and legal compliance standards

Schedule & Location

• Monday–Friday; standard 8-hour day shift
• Indianapolis office with hybrid work option

Travel & Physical Requirements

• No travel required
• Prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer
• Frequent use of hands for typing and office tasks
• Occasional standing, walking, bending, and reaching
• Ability to lift and carry up to 10–15 pounds (e.g., files)
• Visual acuity to read screens and analyze detailed information
• Ability to communicate effectively via phone, video, and in person
