What You’ll Do

This role is for an early-career QA / Automation Engineer (Software Engineer II) supporting wireless product validation. You will join the wireless Test & Automation team to help ensure product quality, reliability, and performance across real networking environments.

• Write and execute test plans and test cases for wireless features and end-to-end systems
• Develop and maintain automation scripts and frameworks (primarily Python)
• Analyze test results, identify issues and performance gaps, and document findings
• Reproduce customer and system issues in controlled lab environments
• Assist in configuring and maintaining testbeds (routers, switches, access points)
• Collaborate with development and platform teams to debug and resolve problems
• Use AI-assisted engineering tools (e.g., Copilot, Cursor) to improve testing speed and automation

What We’re Looking For (Minimum Qualifications)

To be considered, candidates should meet one of the educational/experience options below and demonstrate core technical skills:

• Meet one of the following:
  • Master’s degree with 0 years of professional experience (completed within past 3 years or expected in next 12 months); or
  • Bachelor’s degree with ~2 years of relevant work experience
• Degree or qualifying experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Network Engineering, or a related field
• Strong programming fundamentals, preferably in Python or a similar scripting language
• Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, routing)
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Curious about AI-enabled engineering practices and comfortable using AI tools to assist productivity

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to networking devices (routers, switches, access points) via coursework, labs, or internships
• Experience setting up and troubleshooting small network environments
• Basic understanding of wireless technologies (Wi‑Fi / 802.11)
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA (or actively working toward certification)
