Compensation & Type

  • $85,000 - $115,000 per year + VIP bonus
  • Employment type: FULL_TIME
  • Location: Denver, CO
  • Note: This role participates in pre-employment background and drug screening and requires legal authorization to work in the United States.

What You’ll Do

As a Software Engineer II (C#/.NET/MSSQL) you will contribute to the design, development, testing, and support of production software used by enterprise customers. Typical responsibilities include:

  • Develop new features and maintain existing functionality across the full application stack.
  • Write clean, testable C#/.NET code and implement data access with MSSQL.
  • Create and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure code quality.
  • Debug issues across OS, database, application, and network layers.
  • Own deliverables end-to-end and collaborate with product and engineering peers to design robust solutions.
  • Keep current with industry trends and open-source tools that can improve product quality and velocity.

  • Contribute independently to feature design and delivery.
  • Implement secure, maintainable, and high-performance code.
  • Diagnose multi-area technical problems and propose effective fixes.
  • Participate in Agile software development practices.
  • Communicate design decisions and technical tradeoffs clearly to teammates.
  • Take ownership of your technical growth (product, process, and platform knowledge).

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • 2–3 years of professional experience with C# and .NET development.
  • 2–3 years of experience working with MSSQL (T-SQL, performance tuning, schema design).
  • Familiarity with UI design concepts and delivering user-focused front-end features.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to research and frame technical problems independently.
  • Appreciation for unit testing and testable architectures.
  • Self-motivated, collaborative, and able to communicate technical ideas effectively.
  • Willingness to learn additional programming languages and technologies as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.
  • Proven track record of shipping quality software and debugging across a full stack.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% as needed.
