What You’ll Do
This Software Engineer II role contributes to an early-stage, enterprise AI platform initiative. You will design, implement, test, deploy, and operate production services and connectors that allow AI agents and internal teams to access enterprise data and tooling.
- Build and maintain connectors that integrate AI platform services with enterprise systems — wrapping APIs, handling authentication, error management, and safely surfacing data to agents.
- Ship features and fixes on the internal AI Artifact Hub: deliver bug fixes, performance improvements, and new capabilities for internal users.
- Write clean, tested Python code for APIs, data pipelines, agent skills, and platform tooling.
- Implement features end-to-end: design, code, write tests, deploy, instrument, and monitor in production.
- Help enforce integration standards and support domain teams publishing connectors into an enterprise catalog.
- Instrument systems with metrics, logging, alerts, and dashboards to detect issues before users do.
- Contribute to evaluation and feedback systems, including automated test suites and human-in-the-loop correction workflows.
- Maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) and infrastructure as code (Terraform) with guidance from senior engineers.
- Participate in an on-call rotation with mentorship and follow production runbooks and incident processes.
- Document systems, runbooks, and onboarding materials for platform users and other engineers.

- Proficient in Python — building APIs, scripting, and data-processing logic.
- Familiar with major cloud provider services (AWS examples include Lambda, S3, IAM, API Gateway).
- Comfortable using version control (Git) and collaborative workflows (pull requests, code review).
- Basic understanding of APIs (REST) and common authentication patterns.
- Authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship.
- Able to work in the Atlanta, GA office three days per week.

- Familiarity with authorization models for multi-user systems (row-level security, RBAC).
- Experience with event-driven architectures or serverless patterns.
- Experience building internal developer tools or platform services.
- Interest in cost-optimization / FinOps practices for cloud environments.
