What You’ll Do
As a Software Engineer I on the Test Solutions team you will help design, build, and sustain Windows-based test and engineering tools used across labs, field test, production, and sustainment environments.
- Develop and integrate object-oriented applications using C# and C++ in Microsoft Visual Studio
- Troubleshoot, debug and validate software to ensure reliability and correctness
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams (hardware, test engineers, QA) to implement test solutions
- Work within established SDLCs including Agile and Waterfall
- Help derive and document software requirements and participate in design reviews
- Support demonstrations, design verification, production handoffs, and sustainment activities
Qualifications (Required)
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) completed prior to start
- Experience with software development, testing, or integration using C, C++, Python, or Visual Basic
- Experience developing on Windows OS and using Microsoft Visual Studio
- U.S. citizenship required (eligibility for security clearance)
Qualifications (Preferred)
- Basic understanding of object-oriented design and software engineering principles
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working in Agile or Waterfall development lifecycles
Work Location & Clearance
- Onsite — this role works 100% onsite in Tucson, AZ (1151 E Hermans Rd / BLDG 801 or client facility)
- This position requires eligibility for and possession of a U.S. government security clearance. A current active and transferable clearance is strongly preferred; the ability to obtain an interim clearance or a DoD Secret clearance is required prior to start as specified by the client.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $57,200 — $108,800 USD per year (good-faith estimate across experience levels)
- Benefits may include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- & long-term disability, 401(k) match, paid time off, parental leave, employee development programs, and other client-specific plans (eligibility varies by business unit)
- Relocation eligibility may be available per client policy
