Position Overview

This is an early-career Software Engineer role on a domain product team for a confidential client in Residential Homebuilding, based in The Hammocks, FL. You’ll work on full-stack features that deliver business value using a modern stack (TypeScript/React front-end, Go backend), participate in ServiceNow work, and contribute to AI-enabled capabilities under the guidance of senior engineers.

What You’ll Do

• Develop, test, and maintain front-end features using TypeScript and React with mentorship from senior engineers.
• Contribute to backend services (Go) — bug fixes, feature enhancements, and unit tests.
• Assist with ServiceNow items: catalog items, workflows, and platform scripting.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle: design discussions, code review, testing, and deployments.
• Use and improve platform tooling: CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions), Infrastructure-as-Code modules (Terraform), and internal developer portal templates.
• Support development of AI-enabled capabilities (agentic features, LLM-powered tools) with mentorship and guidance, including potential use of cloud AI services.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field — or equivalent practical experience.
• 0–2 years of professional software development experience (internships/co-ops count).
• Foundational knowledge of TypeScript/JavaScript and a modern front-end framework (preferably React).
• Familiarity with at least one backend language; exposure to Go is a plus.
• Understanding of Git-based version control and collaborative development workflows.
• Strong problem-solving skills, curiosity, and eagerness to learn on the job.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment with clear communication.

Nice to Have

• Exposure to the ServiceNow platform or relevant certification coursework.
• Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and tools (GitHub Actions or similar).
• Coursework or personal projects involving cloud services, AI agents, or LLM-based tooling.
• Basic familiarity with Terraform and developer portal (IDP) templates.

Compensation & Location

• Estimated pay (source listing): $96,663 per year (estimated).
• Location: The Hammocks, FL (Miami area). This role will primarily support the confidential client’s operations in that region.
