What You’ll Do

• Develop, test, debug, and maintain software applications and services.
• Participate in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following established engineering standards.
• Help analyze business and technical requirements to develop effective software solutions.
• Collaborate with team members during sprint planning, code reviews, and design discussions.
• Investigate and resolve software defects and production issues.
• Create and maintain technical documentation related to application functionality and support procedures.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that improve code quality, automation, performance, and reliability.
• Learn Confidential Client products, platforms, development standards, and applicable industry regulations.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field — or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 0–3 years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language.
• Understanding of object-oriented design principles and software development fundamentals.
• Familiarity with source control systems such as Git.
• Knowledge of basic database concepts and SQL.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
• Embraces an AI-First mentality for modern software development.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with .NET / C# and ASP.NET.
• Experience with Angular or similar front-end frameworks.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Familiarity with REST APIs, web services, and enterprise integration.
• Understanding of Agile development methodologies.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks and CI/CD practices.

Success Measures (First 12 Months)

• Deliver assigned development stories and defect fixes on schedule.
• Demonstrate proficiency with Confidential Client engineering tools, processes, and coding standards.
• Contribute positively to sprint commitments and team objectives.
• Produce high-quality, well-tested code requiring minimal rework.
• Build strong working relationships across Engineering, Product Management, and Quality Assurance teams.

Work Location & Schedule

• This role is based in Sharon, PA (authoritative location for this posting). The selected candidate will be expected to work onsite from the Sharon, PA or Jacksonville, FL office 3 days per week. Applicants should be able to commute to the assigned office as required.
